  This hospital double charges you. They charge you a facility fee which the ER co-pay ($250) And then also have the ER doctor bill you. I’ve heard his a Dignity Health thing- to charge for the facility and then they contract outside doctors who bill you- that way they don’t have to staff a physician. I paid all of this to mostly sit in a waiting room for an hour and the doctor’s advice was to exercise more. Mind you I am a healthy weight for my age and height... no referrals were made or treatment plan. Really not impressed with this and the exorbitant cost.

  We've been here a few times over the past year for various things for our kids. The service is always fantastic and we are always taken care of well. Until we get our bill months later. Yes, months.
  
  With one of our kids, he has 2 forms of insurance and it took them OVER A YEAR to bill the insurance companies properly so they'd actually get paid. In the mean time I was getting bills for thousands of dollars and being sent to collections over it.
  
  With another child, I made multiple payments through their online system only to have the payments not credited to our account. Taken out of our bank account, yes, but not credited to the bill. MONTHS later and I'm still trying to get them to fix it. Even after sending in transaction ID numbers and copies of our bank statements showing the payments coming out.
  
  In short, if it's a REAL emergency and you can't make it somewhere else this place will do. They'll treat you great. Just be prepared for an OUTRAGEOUS bill months down the road.
